Why the Granolah arc would be a perfect fit for an episode in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero

Why the Granolah arc would be a perfect fit for an episode in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is a game of absurdly large scope, and it’s only going to get bigger from here on out. From the lineup to the story mode, the game is heavily influenced by a design approach that just keeps getting happier. Current DLC plans are to expand the roster by more than 20 characters, but a new episode could help Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero kill two birds with one stone.

Sparking zero managed to cover most of the series, neglecting only one or two important sources. In contrast, the possibilities for new episodes are almost endless. The Dragon Ball Super Manga is currently responsible for many of the biggest roster exclusions in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero. If developers wanted to add a cast of iconic characters while adapting a compelling story, the Granolah Arc would be the perfect solution.

The Granolah Arc has great potential as Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero DLC

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Securing manga content is not an easy task

Sparking zeroThe ability to include manga-only content is somewhat questionable, with some believing the lack is due to a difficult licensing issue. There are currently no exclusive characters or forms Dragon Ball Superis a manga in which there are playable characters Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero. This may seem like it’s a done deal, but there’s another factor that could give characters like Granolah a fighting chance.

The salvation in this case is hidden in Jiren’s Episode Battle in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero. If players complete the condition to unlock Jiren’s Sparking episode, they will be faced with a difficult battle that obviously references the manga version of the Tournament of Power. There are many characters who make little references to this Supers manga with its movesets, but that pales in comparison to how much the story may have helped pave the way for future manga content.

With this in mind, it is important to recognize why the Granolah Arc stands out from its competitors. Finally, developers could continue to use the manga version’s adapted storylines or look for similar storylines Dragon Ball SuperMoro Arc should be added instead. However, not only does the Granolah Arc surpass the other options narratively, but the roster of characters is second to none.

What makes Dragon Ball Super’s Granolah Arc so special

Dragon Ball SuperThe Granolah the Survivor story arc quickly became a fan favorite during its release and has become even more of a classic since its conclusion. The story arc examined the Saiyans’ past actions from a closer perspective than ever before, brilliantly tying this commentary into the larger themes of the series as a whole. However, this would not have been possible without the arch’s namesake.

Granolah is one of them Dragon Ballis one of the best antagonists in recent years and his place as an anchor of the plot is well-deserved. Granolah is the last survivor of the Cerealian race, once wiped out by Saiyan warriors. Granolah begins a vendetta against Goku and Vegeta, leading him to use a unique set of Dragon Balls to make himself the strongest fighter in the universe.

While Granolah’s backstory provides much-needed information about Bardock and other members of the Saiyan race, his later wish has even greater significance. Dragon Ball It has almost always been about proving who is stronger, and that ideal is truer than ever Dragon Ball Super. Granolah and other characters throughout the story arc cheat this process, with Goku and Vegeta being forced to fight for what they believe in. Ultimately, one surprising character’s relentless hard work dismantles them all.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero could benefit greatly from turning this story into an episode. First and foremost, this would be the first adaptation the Granolah Arc would ever receive, and subsequently the first time many fans would even experience it. In particular, this could also exist Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero More sparking episodes fundamental to the game’s identity. Of course, the final and perhaps biggest appeal of tackling the Granolah arc would be its incredible cast of characters.

Dragon Ball Super’s Granolah Arc is a goldmine for Sparking Zero characters

The original characters from the Granolah Arc were set to join the fight in Sparking Zero

Of course, Granolah would be the main candidate to join Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero‘s roster. Granolah’s status as a Cerelian grants him enhanced perception, and his wish granted him a variety of new abilities that made him surpass any other enemy before him. Luckily, Granolah’s unmatched accuracy, immense power, and diverse arsenal of techniques are just the tip of the iceberg.

The Heeters are a secondary antagonist in the Granolah arc and could also secure a spot or two on the roster. Most likely, Gas would simply be thrust into the spotlight given his role in the final battle. Gas possesses a magical talent for conjuring weapons from the air, as well as an innate ability to enhance himself in combat, similar to the Saiyan’s Zenkai boosts. Gas later made the same wish as Granolah, forcing Granolah to team up with Goku and Vegeta to defeat him.

The Granolah Arc spawned some of Dragon Ball’s most powerful transformations

Of course, Granolah and Gas aren’t the only characters who grew stronger over the course of the story arc. Most notably, Vegeta’s Ultra Ego transformation was introduced during his fight with Granolah. Ultra Ego acts as the exact opposite of Ultra Instinct, as it becomes more powerful the more damage its user takes. Likewise, the powerful new form allows Vegeta to prove that the desire for power is pointless, considering that there will always be someone who trains the old-fashioned way to become stronger.

Ironically, Vegeta’s argument here becomes his downfall later in the arc, when none other than Frieza proves to be the true embodiment of this ideal. This came as a huge shock to fans, considering Frieza had previously insisted on his inherent superiority. However, Frieza’s past defeats taught him a lesson: he must avoid stagnation if he truly wants to dominate the universe. By striving for self-improvement like everyone else, he triggered the Black Frieza transformation and defeated them all with ease.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero DLC leaks suggest new characters are just on the horizon. While it’s not currently the focus of the season pass, the game is sorely lacking in manga content. An adaptation of the Granolah Arc would not only fix this issue with the roster, but could also enable it Dragon Ball: Sparking ZeroThe story mode goes even further.
