PS Plus November 2024 FREE PS4 and PS5 games postponed – fans have a long wait for the lineup | Gaming | Entertainment

There’s good news and bad news for PlayStation Plus subscribers as fans wait for the new games to be released in November 2024.

The bad news is that the next batch of PS Plus Essentials is still a long way from being revealed by Sony.

In fact, due to the way the days fall, the free PS4 and PS5 games for November 2024 won’t be announced until October 30th at 4:30pm BST UK time.

Subscribers will have to wait almost another week for the games to be released, with games launching on the morning of November 5th.

Of course, the good news is that you have plenty of time to redeem the current selection of games, which are some of the best of the year so far.

October’s free games are led by WWE 2K24, which is a huge improvement over previous entries in the long-running series.

After a rocky few years, WWE 2K24 is a nice return to form and features a huge roster of wrestlers from past and present.

Meanwhile, Showcase mode features some of Wrestlemania’s most iconic matches and moments.

“Join the biggest superstars in sports entertainment as WWE 2K24 presents a retelling of the greatest WrestleMania moments of the last 40 years,” reads the official description.

“Participate in some of wrestling’s most memorable and career-defining matches, choosing from the likes of “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Undertaker and Andre the Giant, as well as current contenders “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes, John Cena, Rhea Ripley and Roman Domination.”

It also adds new match types to the mix, including Ambulance Matches, where the goal is to send your opponent away in an ambulance.

This is in addition to all returning game modes and matches, including Universe Mode, MyGM and much more.

WWE 2K24 is joined by the horror games Dead Space Remastered and the spooky interactive novel Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!

Dead Space is a terrifying remake of the PS3 original, complete with improved graphics, new content and superior sound.

“Isaac Clarke is an ordinary engineer on a mission to repair a massive mining ship, the USG Ishimura, only to discover that something has gone terribly wrong. The ship’s crew has been slaughtered and Isaac’s beloved partner Nicole is lost somewhere on board.”

“Now alone and armed only with his technological tools and skills, Isaac sets out to find Nicole as the nightmarish mystery of what happened aboard the Ishimura unravels around him. Trapped with hostile creatures called Necromorphs, Isaac faces a battle for survival, not only against the escalating horrors of the ship, but his own crumbling sanity.”

Finally, Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! is a psychological horror game in which players try to find romance.

All of the above games can be redeemed until November 5th, so make sure you don’t miss out.
