Boxing news: Jake Paul video backfires as fans anger the star for taunting Mike Tyson while running

Jake Paul has brutally mocked a video of Mike Tyson running as their blockbuster boxing match approaches.

There is less than a month left until the showdown, scheduled for November 15th at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

As the duel gets closer, Tyson is keeping his fans regularly updated.

The 58-year-old, one of the best heavyweights of all time, recently shared footage of himself sprinting at top speed in the gym.

However, Paul has now decided to mock his rival in an advertisement for his new fragrance W.

The 27-year-old begins by sharing the clip of Tyson running, before then imitating his boxing rival.

With his back arched and his arms swinging, he then turns to the camera and says: “Get W.”

The two men have insisted they respect each other, but Paul’s decision to mock Tyson is unlikely to please the boxing legend.

However, it remains to be seen who will have the last laugh next month.

Paul will go into the showdown as the favorite despite being relatively new to boxing – he appeared in his first fight back in 2020.

He has won 10 of his 11 professional fights, with Tommy Fury the only man to have defeated him in the ring.

In his prime in the sport, Tyson secured 44 knockouts out of his 50 wins, but suffered two defeats.

CURRENT SPORTS NEWS:

His last professional fight was against Kevin McBride in Las Vegas in 2005, with the Irishman knocking him to the ground and ending his career.

Meanwhile, former boxing star Tim Bradley has spoken out ahead of the fight.

Speaking to ProBox TV, he urged Tyson to beat Paul to end the 27-year-old’s career.

He also expressed the belief that two-minute rounds instead of three-minute rounds would benefit the veteran.

“Mike Tyson, beat his ass out, baby! At first I thought it was kind of crazy, but then I saw the rules,” he said.

“It was called Knockouts, Knockdowns. It’s official, it can happen. Two minutes, that will benefit Mike Tyson.”

“Two minutes instead of three, there’s no doubt about that. Think about it, two minute exercise.

“He comes out in the first four rounds like he’s always the badass, Mike Tyson, pushing him against the ropes, punching him in the body, hitting him with power shots, come on, man.”

“He has the potential to take this man out. You know that power is the last thing that leaves you. You haven’t seen these little training videos, they’re not accelerated.

“We’re talking about Mike Tyson here. Two minutes. That’s all it takes. He can get the knockout. Knock the hell out of Disney Boy.”
