2 injured after shooting leads to crash on Taylor Boulevard

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Two people are in the hospital after a woman was shot and hit a man with her car Saturday night.

Louisville police said that around 8:10 p.m., officers were called to the intersection of Oleanda Avenue and Taylor Boulevard, where they found a woman who had been shot. She was taken to UofL Hospital, where she is expected to survive.

LMPD said while the woman was trying to drive away after being shot, she struck a man on a moped. He was also taken to UofL Hospital, where he is expected to survive.

Police said they believe the original location of the shooting was near Beecher Street and Henry Avenue.
