I’ve always said if you can’t visit Miami, paisley is the next best thing. Based on the reaction to some recently uploaded gameplay footage, it seems like I was right.

I’m sure everyone reading this knows by now (unless you live at the bottom of the ocean in an old piece of pipe): GTA VI will be set in a fictional recreation of Florida, with a focus on Vice City (famously based on Miami).

However, we still have to wait a bit GTA VI. Although the game is reportedly still on track for a 2025 release, we have no idea When The game is coming in 2025. It could take months or more than a year.

The good news for those who can’t wait to experience a breathtaking open-world game? Someone has created an incredibly impressive GTA-like game set in the beautiful Scottish town of Paisley.

TikToker linziclarkmusic shared her friend Bovine’s project featuring a GTA-style game set in Scotland, and the 5-minute concept has already racked up nearly 350,000 views.

While we should emphasize that this game isn’t actually playable (or, technically, isn’t a game at all at this point), admirers are keen to help see the project through and are even offering funding.

“This is really incredible! Get him to start a gofundme and we could all get the ball rolling for a real game. I’m sure people would be up for it,” one fan gushed on TikTok.

Another added: “A Glasgow murder mystery with the tenements at night. This looks brilliant.”

“This is the most amazing thing I have ever seen! If he doesn’t release Silent Hill: Glasgow I’ll be forever disappointed,” joked a third.

The TikToker has since responded to fans, writing: “Yes we need to explore options. It’s so nice to see people invested!”
