Arsenal’s worst players in the 2-0 defeat to Bournemouth

Arsenal suffered an incredibly heavy defeat against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday evening.

Not only did the 2-0 defeat give Liverpool and Manchester City the opportunity to move a few points clear of Arsenal in the Premier League table with wins on Sunday, but William Saliba’s red card also means the Gunners are back on their star track. Center have to do without. back for the upcoming game against Liverpool next weekend.

So all in all not ideal.

According to Arsenal, here are the worst-performing players in the defeat 90 minutes Player ratings.

Jakub Kiwior: 2/10

The fact that Kiwior came on in the 37th minute and then came off again in the 81st minute tells you everything you need to know about the defender’s performance on Saturday.

With Kiwior winning 0% of their tackle attempts and Bournemouth awarded a penalty with a pathetically tame back pass in the second half, it’s fair to say that Kiwior played very, very poorly.

Dishonorable mentions

William Saliba: 2/10

If William Saliba hadn’t been sent off, Arsenal would probably have won Saturday night’s game.

The red card capped a pretty poor week overall for the defender, who was heavily criticized by the French media for his performances in his country’s international matches against Belgium and Israel in October.

He will now miss Arsenal’s crucial game against Liverpool next weekend due to suspension.

Leandro Trossard: 2/10

At the end of the day, William Saliba wouldn’t have been sent off if Leandro Trossard hadn’t decided to put Evanilson clean on goal – for reasons unknown.

The Belgian did little to make amends for this mistake afterwards, as he only completed a measly 63% of his passes and didn’t create a single chance for his own team-mates.
