Netflix releases intense trailer for Sam Raimi’s new horror film

A new teaser for Netflix’s latest horror thriller, Don’t move, was released according to Discussing Film on X.The film with Kelsey Asbille (Yellowstone, Fagro) and Finn Wittrock (American horror story) Directed by Adam Schindler and Brian Netto, produced by Sam Raimi. TJ Cimfel and David White wrote the screenplay about a A woman named Iris (Asbille) who has to escape a serial killer within 20 minutes as her body shuts down.

“You have about 20 minutes until you are completely paralyzed” says a male voice in the minute-long trailer. “What have you done to me?” asks Asbille’s Iris. “Just a special relaxant to make things easier for both of us,” the man says.

Then the male voice begins to tell Iris what will happen to her body in the next 20 minutes. “For the first minute, your fine motor skills will slow down. From minute 10 your legs start to tingle. In the 15th minute your legs completely give out.“It goes on to say: “18, your breathing becomes more labored… And just before everything stops, your voice stops.”

Then you hear Iris whispering “Help me.”

Sam Raimi and the MCU

Legendary producer/director Raimi is a producer of Don’t move. Raimi, known for The evil dead, the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man films and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Rumor has it that there will be a reunion with Marvel Studios.He is reportedly close to finalizing a deal to direct the sequel to his 2022 film Doctor Strange filmthe director’s first film in the MCU.

I would love to work with Marvel again,” he said. Raimi added: “You didn’t ask me to do this reasonably. I hope you had a good experience with me. You haven’t asked me yet. I hope they do,” he said.

Don’t move arrives on Netflix on October 25th – so viewers have time to watch it during this Halloween season.
