Social media reaction to Vols’ win over Alabama

No. 10 Tennessee (6-1, 2-1 SEC) defeated No. 7 Alabama (5-2, 2-2 SEC), 24-17, on Saturday at Neyland Stadium. The rankings reflect the US LBM Coaches Survey.

Tennessee totaled 408 yards (194 passing, 214 rushing) against the Crimson Tide. Alabama totaled 314 yards (239 passing, 75 rushing) in Week 8 Southeastern Conference competition.

The Vols had two turnovers while Alabama recorded three turnovers.

Tennessee running back Dylan Sampson led all rushers with 139 rushing yards and Vols’ wide receiver Bru McCoy led the game with 80 receiving yards.

Tennessee quarterback Nico Iamaleava recorded 194 passing yards while Jalen Milroe had 239 yards for Alabama.
