According to reports, the NBA will soon decide whether to give Christian Koloko a medical clearance

In order to strengthen their center position and provide Anthony Davis with adequate support, the Los Angeles Lakers signed former 2022 second-round draft pick Christian Koloko late this offseason. Koloko stands 7’1″ tall with a solid 7’1″ wingspan. As a rookie, he showed some promise as a shot blocker who could finish strong at the rim.

There was just one problem: Koloko had a blood clot problem last season that forced him to miss the entire year. The Lakers signed him even though the NBA had not yet cleared him to play this season, although he said his doctors had given him the “green light” to play.

An official decision from the league on whether to clear Koloko to play will reportedly be made soon.
