New video shows consequences of fatal hit-and-run on Freeway 91; CHP is looking for drivers

The California Highway Patrol is searching for a driver as newly released video shows the aftermath of a hit-and-run crash that killed a motorcyclist on an Orange County highway in August.

The accident occurred on August 30 at around 11 p.m. CHP officers were called to the area of ​​State Route 91 near Gypsum Canyon Road. When they got there, they found a man lying dead on the road, his badly damaged motorcycle next to him.

Newly released dash camera footage appears to show the moments immediately after the crash. In the video, a white pickup truck can be seen driving over the wreckage of the motorcycle and speeding away. The CHP said they believe they are looking for a white Chevrolet Silverado that has moderate damage to the right front area of ​​the car. Officials said this could include dents or damage to the right front door, side panel or side mirror.
