Colorado’s two-way sensation Travis Hunter is out for the second half of the Buffaloes’ game against Arizona. He was wearing street clothes when the team came out of the locker room.

According to Hunter, the right shoulder injury he suffered last week against Kansas State aggravated Fox Sports reporter Allison Williams. However, she noted that the decision to give Hunter a break was more of a precautionary measure since Colorado entered halftime with a 28-7 lead.

Hunter entered the game ranked second in the Heisman Trophy odds after putting up big performances on both ends all season.

But on Saturday, he was limited on the defensive side of the ball even before he finally left the game. On defense, he had just one tackle in 13 games, while on offense he had two catches for 17 yards in 41 games.

The Buffaloes will need him moving forward if they want to be in the Big 12 title race, as they face Cincinnati, Texas Tech and Utah in the coming weeks before taking on Kansas and Oklahoma State.
