What Alabama needs to do in the second half to beat Tennessee

The Alabama Crimson Tide led the Tennessee Volunteers 7-0 at halftime at Neyland Stadium.

Here’s what Alabama needs to do to complete the win:

– Establish a rhythm with both tailbacks at the start of the descents:

Jalen Milroe and the Alabama offense need to settle down and continue to establish their running game through tailbacks like Jam Miller and Justice Haynes.

Keep feeding Ryan Williams, but also incorporate other pass catchers:

The connection between Jalen Milroe and Ryan Williams continues to ignite the tide, but Alabama needs to continue to include other pass catchers like Germie Bernard, Kendrick Lawrence, etc.

– The attack must capitalize on ball losses and short fields:

Alabama’s defense committed three turnovers in the first half, which equated to zero points on offense. The Alabama offense needs to take advantage of extra possessions.

– Continue to stop the running game and put pressure on the QB:

Alabama must continue to smother Volunteers running back Dylan Sampson and continue to force young quarterback Nico Lamaleava to make poor decisions.
