Grundy Bank is accepting submissions for “Lights, Camera, Save!” Teen Video Contest – Shaw Local

Grundy Bank is accepting entries for its “Lights, Camera, Save!” program. Video contest organized by the American Bankers Association Foundation to encourage youth to use videos to teach the value of sound money management and show their peers a healthy financial path.

“Lights, camera, save! “gives local students the opportunity to express their creativity, learn how to manage money wisely and communicate these lessons with their peers,” said Kevin Olson, president and CEO of Grundy Bank. “A solid financial education is critical to a successful future, and so are we.” I’m thrilled to be taking part in a competition that reinforces this message.”

Participants must be between 13 and 18 years old and create a video of no more than 30 seconds long about how to use money wisely and submit a link to the video along with the completed registration form to the bank by Wednesday, November 27th. The competition is open to filmmakers Open to all levels of experience.

Grundy Bank will host the first round of judging and select a winner to compete at the national level for one of three cash prizes, including $5,000 for first place, $2,500 for second place and $1,000 for second place third place. National participants will compete against each other in the first round of national judging. It will be decided which videos will make it to the second round of national evaluation.

Videos will be judged based on their quality, message, content and the criteria set out in the official rules of the competition.
