The SEC Game of the Year is here! Tonight, the No. 1 Texas Longhorns will host the No. 5 Georgia Bulldogs under the DKR lights.

The Horns will try to keep the hype train rolling. The Longhorns are undefeated so far, with big wins over Michigan and Oklahoma. But neither the Wolverines nor the Sooners have been as good as preseason prognosticators thought, so Georgia could be the first real test for Texas.

For Georgia, this game is an unconditional victory. The Bulldogs, once the No. 1 team last season, have been shaky so far this season. A few weeks ago Georgia lost to Alabama and last week it was less than impressive against Mississippi State. Another loss could deal a real blow to Georgia’s postseason ambitions.

ESPN will open the day with College GameDay on the South Mall of the UT campus. Scottie Scheffler will serve as guest selector.
