A must-see for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFL’s Week 7 fantasy football lineups

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are good at 4-2 to start the year, but have a tough schedule ahead of them. The first tier of this ranking is the Baltimore Ravens, who are riding a four-game winning streak.

We here at BucsGameday also love fantasy football (who doesn’t), so each week we’ll break down two players on Tampa Bay’s roster you should start with… and two you might want to stay away from. Here are our tips for this week:

WR Chris Godwin

This is becoming more and more of a topic, and for good reason – Godwin topped 10 receptions against the Saints, and that’s a must for PPR leagues – even regardless of his two touchdowns. But there’s another reason, as he’ll likely be a focal point of attack without wideout Mike Evans due to injury. With that in mind, Godwin should definitely be in your starting lineup (if he wasn’t already).

QB Baker Mayfield

Baker Mayfield hasn’t been on this list in a while, but considering how bad Baltimore’s pass defense is, this will be a good week to start him. Mayfield leads the league with 15 passing touchdowns this year, so he’s already a really good option, but he’ll likely take advantage of a very poor Ravens pass defense and put up some points. Get the deck going with him and Godwin if you can.

Buccaneers D/ST

This Baltimore Ravens offense can attack you in a trillion different ways, and the Bucs defense will likely suffer for it. The Ravens will add yards on the ground with Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson, and with cornerback Jamel Dean out of the game, the passing game could explode as well. It might be a good idea to find a different defense this week if you have the chance.

RB Sean Tucker

I’m sure some of you have Sean Tucker on your waiver (guilty as charged), but it’s not the time to denounce him yet. Todd Bowles may have talked about a “three-headed monster” in the backfield after the Saints game, but until we see him bleed into running back Rachaad White’s runs, you might not want to throw Tucker at that FLEX spot right away.
