Reaves originally signed with Rigorer as brand ambassador in April 2022. In 2023, he inked a new deal that introduced his own signature shoe and then expanded the partnership to receive an equity stake.

The 26-year-old remains the only NBA player with a more rigorous signature kick.

Reaves is coming off a 2023-24 season in which he averaged 15.9 points and 5.5 assists while shooting 48.6 percent from the field. He also scored 16.8 points per game in the Lakers’ first-round playoff loss to the Denver Nuggets.

The 1.95 meter tall guard is an important support in LA behind LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Jovan Buha of The Athletic reported in June that the team had committed to Reaves and would not trade him unless it could bring in “a true All-Star.” ” citing the Lakers’ unwillingness to include him in a package for Dejounte Murray.
