The best runway fashion trends for spring 2025

Joy was omnipresent in the Spring 2025 collections, with optimism and individuality taking center stage. If you want to dress up, this is your season. Maximalism made a major comeback, with beaded jackets worn with ruffled floral chiffon skirts, lace tights and jewels at Valentino; Brocade pieces mixed with lace blouses and satin skirts at Saint Laurent; and swinging necklaces over blouson tweeds at Louis Vuitton.

This season’s silhouettes were given a soft power, with feminine draping, ruffles and chiffon layers. Jonathan Anderson’s light, airy floral fabrics were transformed into swinging crinoline hoop skirts. Reserved? Definitely – albeit in a slightly different form at Prada and Balenciaga in the form of coats with Peter Pan collars and colored tights, blouse dresses that are open at the back with a bow tie and laces.
