The NFL has banned outsiders from entering the athletes’ locker room to guard Travis Kelce.

The NFL is increasing security to protect Travis Kelce from potential “spitters” looking for a “hot shot” in the locker room.

The league has adopted new rules to keep outsiders out of the players’ BTS zone, primarily to protect the Kansas City Chiefs tight end amid his high-profile romance with Taylor Swift, RadarOnline.com can reveal.

The NFL has concerns about Travis Kelce’s safety as his romance with Taylor Swift heats up.

A source revealed that professional football players will now have to be interviewed in “designated areas” set by their teams – with access to their locker rooms strictly prohibited.

They told RadarOnline.com: “While reporters will continue to have access to players for interviews, the locker room will no longer be part of the equation.”

Interviewers must now speak with NFL players in an area selected by the teams.

“Instead, interviews will now be conducted in separate, designated areas, with each team determining the location.”

They continued: “While the league claims this is to protect the privacy of all players, everyone knows it’s to protect Taylor Swift’s boyfriend.”

The decision comes as many NFL stars’ romances – particularly Kelce’s with his billionaire boyfriend – have gained popularity recently.

The insider added: “Swift’s new flame – and other NFL stars – can rest assured that their post-game downtime won’t make headlines. But no one believes that it is just a coincidence that the new rules are being implemented now.”

The new strategy could either improve relations between players and the press or increase tensions in sports media coverage.

In early October, RadarOnline.com revealed that Swift had dodged some of her boyfriend’s games because of “new safety fears.”

The next night, the pair went out for pizza in Brooklyn – where they specifically declined VIP service and sat in the main area, which an insider said appeared to be “intentional.”
