Freeman (sprained right ankle) returned to the starting lineup in NLCS Game 5 against the Mets on Friday after missing Game 4. More >

Rojas (left adductor tear), Vesia (right intercostal injury), Kelly (right shoulder injury) and Graterol (right shoulder inflammation) were all left from the NLCS roster.

Stone, already out for the remainder of his season due to right shoulder inflammation, will likely miss the entire 2025 season after undergoing right shoulder surgery on Oct. 9. More >

Ian Hamilton and Nestor Cortes, Yankees

Major League Baseball announced Friday that it has approved a roster move for the New York Yankees due to Hamilton’s left calf strain injury. He was replaced by Mark Leiter Jr. on New York’s squad against the Guardians in the ALCS. More >

Cortes (left elbow flexor muscle strain), who last pitched on Sept. 18, was scheduled to have a live batting practice on Wednesday. According to manager Aaron Boone, he is a potential World Series option if the Yankees make it that far. More >

Arraez announced on social media Wednesday that he has undergone surgery on his left thumb to treat an injury he sustained during the 2024 season. More >

Major League Baseball announced Tuesday that it has approved a roster move for the Guardians due to an acute left lower back strain suffered by Cobb. He will be replaced by right winger Ben Lively in Cleveland’s squad against the Yankees in the ALCS. More >

Masataka Yoshida, Red Sox

The Red Sox announced Wednesday that Yoshida underwent a successful labral repair on his right shoulder on Oct. 3. A source told MLB.com that the Red Sox are aiming to have the left-hander ready by Opening Day, scheduled for March 27 in Texas. More >
