“Lady Killer” brags about playing video games all day while his wife earns money and does household chores

A Chinese man is going viral for being a withheld man whose Japanese wife takes complete care of him financially. The man nicknamed “Woman Murderer” shared his story online and amassed over a million followers on Douyin in just a month.

The man has lived in Japan for eight years and shares his experiences as a “kept man.” In Japan, men are considered the main breadwinners of a family, while women focus primarily on housework. That’s why the man known online as “Sudden Fantasy” is causing controversy.

SCMP reported that he built a following of 1.4 million on Douyin in just one month.

Sudden Fantasy describes himself as “an ordinary man from Beijing” and says his wife is well-educated and working. She also belongs to a rich Japanese family whose mother has traveled to several international destinations.

He says that because of his financial problems, he did not think about having a romantic relationship with his wife, who is called Fenghua in Chinese. However, at some point he had difficulty eating anything at all.

At this time, Fenghua brought him food and helped him pay his tuition fees. The couple dated for two and a half years before getting married.

Sudden Fantasy soon decided to quit his job and now relies completely on his wife for everything. He says he just plays video games all day while his wife works to meet all her needs. She also does all the household chores and he doesn’t even actively help her.

He shared that his wife kept a jar in the house containing 260,000 yen (US$1,740) for his daily expenses. He says he doesn’t even think about paying her back because that would “make her cry.”

In his videos he talks in detail about his life as a reserved man and talks about mutual support and understanding in a relationship. He says that on Sundays he stays in bed with his wife until noon, although he himself wakes up at 7 a.m. because she sleeps until then.

He states that he does this so that his wife is not afraid of sleeping late at night. Even though he doesn’t work around the house, he says he always stands by her so she doesn’t get “resentful.” He takes care of little things like making sure she goes to the bathroom first so she doesn’t have to step on a wet floor.

In his opinion, the way to be a well-groomed man is to improve each other’s lives.
