Yorkshire Tea is discontinuing its Toast and Jam tea bags

The company will discontinue the “Toast and Jam” tea bags that it launched back in 2020, despite them being popular with many customers.

After just four years, the drink is being phased out in stores across the UK.

Yorkshire Tea axes popular breakfast drink as fans complain of ‘national shortages’

According to The Sun newspaper, users noticed an apparent defect in the Yorkshire Tea product, with one person writing on X (formerly Twitter): “Please tell me you still make Jam on Toast tea bags? I can’t get them in the supermarket.” !!!!! And I need it urgently.”

Another added: “Is your toast and jam tea still available? I’ve tried three different supermarkets in North Devon but it’s nowhere to be found. Send help or jam tea! The search continues!”

A third said: “Have you stopped making jam and toast?

The brand appeared to confirm the decision, telling one fan: “We’re worried it will stop production, but it’s still available at Tesco, Amazon and Ocado for a short time.”

It is understood tea will be replaced by the band’s new product ‘Caramelised Biscuit Brew’.

The brand regularly changes its product range to keep the offerings up to date for customers.

Tom Church, co-founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, said: “By making room for the new Caramelised Biscuit Brew, Yorkshire Tea shows that ingenuity is just as important on the tea shelf as it is with chocolate or sweets.”

“Innovation is marketing, as they say. I think you’ll have found that most people probably try these different flavors once or twice out of curiosity.
