New Delhi: England captain Ben Stokes was one of the pillars as the Three Lions attempted to mount a solid defense against the rampaging spinners of Pakistan. However, his knock came to a rather hilarious end as he not only lost his wicket but also threw his bat uncontrollably into the air while attempting to shoot.

When Stokes tried to get out and hit Pakistan spinner Noman Ali for six, he completely miscalculated. As he attempted his shot, he lost control of his bat, which ended up flying wide. Unfortunately, Stokes also lost his balance. As he found himself outside his crease, he was immediately caught off guard by wicket-keeper Mohammad Rizwan.

Stokes was the last England batsman to be dismissed. The team then sank to a disastrous score of 125/7, with a deficit of 172 runs still to be made up. The England team eventually reached 152 runs.
