Mega Millions winning numbers, live results from Friday’s $185 million lottery drawing

The Mega Millions jackpot for Friday’s lottery drawing has increased to an estimated $185 million, with a cash option of $88.4 million.

The drawing will take place at 10:59 p.m. and will be broadcast on WABC-7 in the New York City area and Fox 29 in the Philadelphia area. NJ.com will release the winning numbers immediately after the drawing.

While no one across the country won the $169 million jackpot on Tuesday, a second-prize ticket worth $1 million was sold in Maryland.

In New Jersey, a $10,000 third-prize ticket was purchased at DL Meat & Deli on Jackson Avenue in Elizabeth, Union County, lottery officials said. Four numbers plus the Mega Ball were guessed correctly.

Mega Millions drawings take place on Tuesday and Friday in 45 states as well as Washington, DC and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

The odds of a $2 ticket winning the Mega Millions jackpot when matching five numbers and the Mega Ball are 302,575,350 to 1.

Players have a 1 in 12,607,306 chance that a ticket that matches five numbers but does not include the Mega Ball will win at least $1 million. The odds of matching four numbers plus the Mega Ball and winning a prize worth at least $10,000 are 931,001 to 1.

Saturday’s Powerball jackpot is estimated at $437 million, with a cash option of $210.3 million.
