Zach’s first warning forecast: beginning of a warming trend

It’s still cold this evening, but the chances of 30 degrees are very slim. We should also stay frost-free. It will be a little warmer here at the weekend. Highs will tend to climb into the 70s, with morning temperatures in the mid to upper 40s. Some clouds are possible, especially on Sunday. The northerly breeze is slowly easing this weekend too. 80s are possible until the middle of next week. Just enough moisture could arrive ahead of a cold front late Wednesday to give us a few showers. Like last week, it won’t do much good. Cooler air is moving in behind the front, but not as cold as in recent days. King Tide ends Tuesday with the highest water levels expected at high tide Saturday morning. Nothing out in the Atlantic will impact the ENC or the US for at least the next 7-10 days.
