Yankees vs. Guardians Score, Live Updates: Cleveland looks to even the series in ALCS Game 4

Cleveland fans won’t soon forget the Guardian’s epic walk-off win in Game 3 against the Yankees on Thursday night, punctuated by monstrous home runs from Jhonkensy Noel and David Fry. But they don’t have much time to celebrate the win as Game 4 takes place on Friday night and the Guardians still face a 2-1 series deficit.

Both starting pitchers will make their first postseason appearances – Lucas Gil for the Yankees (3.50 ERA in 151.2 innings this season) and Gavin Williams for the Guardians (4.86 ERA in 76 innings in 2024).

After Thursday night’s heroics, do the Guardians have more magic left in them? They have been solid at home this season and gained some needed momentum with their Game 3 win. We’ll find out soon enough.

    Luis Gil is on the mound for the first time this postseason. The rookie went 15-4 with a 3.50 ERA and 171 strikeouts in 151 2/3 innings during the regular season.
