Cincinnati high school football results for Week 9

CINCINNATI – Friday already?! We’re back on the football field and ready to cover some of the top games in the Tri-State tonight.

The WCPO 9 Friday Football Game of the Week could be a candidate for Game of the Year as it pits two undefeated teams against each other. Anderson vs. Winton Woods has all the ingredients for a very special duel as the final two weeks of the regular season begin.

Friday’s winner will clinch at least a share of the Eastern Cincinnati Conference title when the regular season ends Oct. 26. There are also important computer points at stake as the postseason begins on November 1st.

“It’s getting to that point,” Winton Woods coach Chad Murphy said. “The weather is with us – it’s getting a little cooler out here. The leaves are changing. Here we are in Week 9 – 8-0 vs. 8-0. I just don’t think you can ask for much more as a competitor.”

WCPO reporter Mike Dyer will cover the game tonight and provide postgame coverage during Friday Football, which begins at 11:15 p.m

Our teams will also be at Indian Hill vs. Wyoming, Ryle vs. Great Crossing, Middletown vs. Princeton, Lakota West vs. Lakota East, Roger Bacon vs. Purcell Marian, Bellevue vs. Newport, Archbishop Alter vs. Bishop Fenwick, Elder against Bishop Chatard, CCD against Lockland and more.

The results of today’s games are updated below. Catch up on the latest highlights tonight.
