COMPETITION RULES

No purchase or payment of any kind is required to enter or win.

The Contest is void where prohibited by law.

1. How to enter the competition:

(a) The CBS Los Angeles “Orange County Soccer Club October Ticket Raffle” The competition starts on Sunday, 10/20/24 at 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) and ends on Tuesday 10/22/24 at 11:59 pm PT. The competition is sponsored by the Orange County Soccer Club (OCSC).

(b) To participate in the Contest, users must follow the Sports Central X account @SportsCentralLA during the Promotion Window. To be eligible to win, winners must also repost the Sports Central Sweepstakes invitation post.

(c) To enter via X Follow the @SportsCentralLA account during the Entry Period.

Participant must have a valid X account to participate. Participant may not use more than one (1) X Account, and if Participant does not already have one, Participant may open an X Account free of charge at www.X.com. Entrants must comply with X’s Terms and Conditions, which can be found on their website. Participants provide their information to the station, not to X. The information provided is not provided to X. By participating in the Promotion, all participants agree to a full release of liability for X. Entrants are subject to all notices posted online, including but not limited to the Station’s Privacy Policy. Entries submitted cannot be accepted or returned. Proof of submission of an entry does not constitute proof of receipt by the promotion administrator.

(d) Sponsor is not responsible for any technical or computer failures, errors or loss of data of any kind, lost or unavailable Internet connections or failed, incomplete, garbled or deleted computer or network transmissions or the inability to access any website or online service or other errors or malfunctions or late, lost, illegible or misdirected entries. Registration documents that have been manipulated or changed are invalid. If the Judges, in their sole discretion, determine that there has been suspected or actual electronic manipulation of the Contest or technical difficulties jeopardize the integrity of the Contest, the Judges reserve the right to invalidate the entries in question and/or terminate the Contest and conduct a random drawing to award the prize among all eligible entries received by the expiration date. If the Contest is terminated prior to its expiration date due to tampering or technical difficulties, notice will be posted at www.KCALNews.com. If for any reason the Contest cannot be conducted as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control that corrupt or impair its administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest, Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant it finds to be tampering with the operation of the Contest or the Website, or to be in violation of the Contest Official Rules through the use of this Website. By entering the Contest, you agree to the Station’s Website Terms of Use and use of your personal information as described in the Privacy Policy located at “www.CBSLA.com/privacy.”

(e) Participants enter by following the @SportsCentralLA X account AND reposting the entry invitation post.

(f) Transfers are subject to reservations and date changes. If such changes occur, they will be published on the KCBS/KCAL-TV (Station) website.

(g) The entry is deemed to have been made by the owner of the email account.

(h) Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries.

2. Participation Restrictions:

(a) The competition is open to Southern California residents (in Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, Riverside, Ventura and Kern counties) who are 21 years of age or older. Employees of KCBS/KCAL-TVParamount Global, Orange County Soccer Clubother television and radio stations in the Los Angeles The following are excluded from participation or winning:

(b) Viewers are eligible to win a KCBS/KCAL-TV Competition only once every sixty days. Each competition will only allow one winner per household. Viewers are eligible to win a prize of $600.00 or more only once every six months.

(c) All Submissions become the sole property of Station and will not be returned. By participating, participants agree to abide by these rules and warrant and represent that their entry is their original work.

(d) Entrants are required to provide truthful information and the Station will reject and delete any entry if it determines to be false or fraudulent. The Station will disqualify any entry from anyone who does not meet the eligibility requirements, and the Station will also cancel any entry from anyone under 21 years of age.

3. Prices:

(a) One (1) prize winner will receive: Four (4) tickets + VIP admission to Beer Fest for the OCSC game on October 26, 2024 at Championship Field at Great Park Irvine. The winner’s companions must also be at least 21 years old Approximate Value of Prize Package: $250.

(b) Competition prizes are non-transferable. Prizes cannot be redeemed or redeemed for cash. Station reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable value.

4. Selection of winners:

(a) Contest Sponsors’ decisions regarding the Contest are final.

(a) The Prize winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at approximately 9:00 a.m. PT. A KCBS-TV/KCAL9-TV representative will direct message the winner at will be randomly selected from all other eligible entries. Winner must respond to the initial direct message within 24 hours, providing contact information to collect the required personal information listed below, and accept the prize as indicated or respond within the time period specified by KCBS-TV/KCAL-TV.

(B) Prize winner must be able to provide valid government-issued identification when requested by KCBS/KCAL-TV to release prize. If the prize winner is unable to provide sufficient identification as required by KCBS/KCAL-TV within the specified time period, the prize winner will be deemed ineligible and an alternate winner will be selected at random from all other eligible entries.

5. Conditions:

(a) Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner and winner may receive an IRS Form 1099 or equivalent form from Station.

(b) By entering the Contest, the winner agrees that his or her name, voice or likeness may be used in any advertising or broadcast materials relating to this Contest and that, prior to acceptance, he or she agrees to provide a publicity release, an affidavit of eligibility and a Release of liability signed of the price. By accepting the prize, winner grants Station the right to use winner’s name, voice, image and/or likeness for advertising and publicity purposes in any media now known or hereafter invented without further permission or additional compensation (except where prohibited by law). All costs of obtaining and using the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners and Companions, by accepting their prizes, agree to release Station, Paramount Global, Orange County Soccer Club, their respective parents and subsidiaries, and their respective advertising, promotion and production agencies from any liability, claim or action of any kind for Injury, damage or loss to persons or property that may arise in connection with receipt, possession or use of the prize or in preparing for, participating in and/or traveling to any prize-related activity.

6. The Contest Sponsors reserve the right to make changes to the Contest Rules, effective upon announcement.

7. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other errors in the printing, offering or administration of the Contest or in the announcement of the prize.

8. Failure to comply with the competition rules may result in the disqualification of a participant.
