Osseo Football Falls to White Bear Lake

The Osseo football team narrowly lost to White Bear Lake, 21-17, in the regular season finale for both teams on Thursday afternoon.

Osseo scored first on a touchdown pass from Stephon Barcenas to Iggie Cooper and led 7-0 after one quarter.

After White Bear Lake tied the game in the second quarter, John Fallah kicked a 31-yard field goal to give Osseo a 10-7 halftime lead.

White Bear Lake’s Porter Cleary scored short touchdowns in the third and early fourth quarters to make the Bears 21-10.

Robert Pierson intercepted a pass from Osseo and returned it to the one-yard line to set up a TD and bring the Orioles to within 21-17.

With about three and a half minutes left in the game, Phillip Sieh blocked a White Bear Lake punt and Lance Quiah returned it for an apparent touchdown, but the return was nullified by a penalty and White Bear Lake held on for the win.
