The film “Five Nights at Freddy’s 2” gives a first look at Toy Freddy

Five nights at Freddy’s Fans just got their very first look at the film version of Toy Freddy, another animatronic that will appear in the series Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 Film releasing in December 2025. The first look at Toy Freddy comes from a new poster shared from Blumhouse’s New York Comic-Con showcase, and also happens to be our first official poster for the sequel. With Five nights at Freddy’s Star Matthew Lillard just confirmed to ComicBook that filming is continuing Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is launching very soon, hopefully fans can expect to see more teasers like this in the near future.

Although he looks quite similar to the original Freddy Fazbear from the first part Five nights at Freddy’s In the film, Toy Freddy is a different character and part of the “Toy” line of animatronics, including alternate versions of Bonnie, Chica, and more. He differs from the other versions of Freddy Fazbear in his slimmer, more sculptural appearance. You can see the film version of Toy Freddy in the poster below, courtesy of Blumhouse:

The first poster for Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 reiterated that the film already has a fixed release date and Blumhouse will release it in theaters on December 5, 2025. This will be a little over two years after the first Five nights at Freddy’s Film released, so a pretty quick turnaround FNAF Fans have something to look forward to. The first film also came onto streaming soon after its theatrical release and was a huge success on Peacock Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 will hopefully follow suit for those who want to watch it at home.

Technically, there’s a chance we’ve actually seen Toy Freddy in some of the films before Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 teases, although not in the full form he portrays in the poster. Blumhouse and Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, with the latter working on the animatronics for the new film just like the first film Five nights at Freddy’s film both gave behind-the-scenes looks at some of the animatronics in progress. People have been able to recognize some of them from the rough cuts, which has led to predictions about which characters we might see in them Five Nights at Freddy’s 2.

It’s also fitting that Toy Freddy is featured in the Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 film and see how he first appeared in the film Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 Game. He played in most games after that, including Five Nights at Freddy’s 3, Five nights at Freddy’s 4and spin-offs like Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help wanted And Looking for help 2although some of these appearances were just cameo appearances such as posters or cutouts.

Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 will hit theaters on December 5, 2025, so keep an eye out for more teasers until then to see what other characters will appear in the sequel.
