Warming trend well into next week

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Temperatures will rise to 10 degrees above average by early next week.

TONIGHT:

A wonderful night is ahead. Temperatures will drop to over 60°C, 50°C and eventually 40°C under clear skies. No frost is expected on Saturday morning. The only area where frost could form is the deeper valleys of eastern Middle Tennessee and southern Kentucky.

THIS WEEKEND:

Nice weather awaits us this weekend. Temperatures start around 40°C both mornings.

We will have plenty of sunshine on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

High Saturday, 75.

The high temperature on Sunday will be 78°.

NEXT WEEK:

More sunshine is forecast for Monday. Low: 46. High: 81.

Tuesday brings a few clouds and even warmer weather. High, 83.

A cold front will move through Middle Tennessee late Wednesday. There’s a chance we could get a shower or two along the way. Even if we understand this, the ongoing drought will not be affected.

Cooler weather will prevail on Thursday and Friday.
