The alternative rock/punk-emo band from Toledo opens the fall season of Live & Loud – BG Falcon Media

Toledo alt-rock/punk-emo band User927 has opened Live & Loud’s fall 2024 season at the Michael and Sarah Kuhlin Center at Bowling Green State University. The band played three tracks – “Luna”, “Morgue Rat” and “Jeannine” – showcasing their distinctive sound.

User927 started as a solo projectect by frontman Damian Camacho, who recorded the first album independently. Looking for more members to expand the band, Damian posted a flyer on the University of Toledo campus, and bassist Isaac Leitner said he “just happened to walk by it,” which led to their collaboration. Guitarist Selah Carter and Camacho were previously in a band called Exit Only, which was also featured on Live & Loud (Watch this episode here). Local musician Trent Swartz occasionally plays drums for User927.

The band’s new album, Violence and perfumeis set to release soon and will feature the single “Luna,” which is part of User927’s Live & Loud set and is available on all major streaming platforms including Spotify.

“We wanted to make it a heavier, more cohesive project, so it’s a lot longer, a lot more tracks, and we’re really excited because I feel like it does a lot more than our first album,” Camacho said.

You can follow User927 on social media (including Facebook And Instagram) as well as their Band camp Page for updates on album release and future performances.
