TNT Sports and Unrivaled Reach are entering into a multi-year media partnership beginning in January 2025

TNT Sports and the women’s professional basketball league Unrivaled have entered into a multi-year media rights partnership to present exclusive live game coverage on TNT and truTV starting in the league’s inaugural season – along with all games streamed on Max.

The agreement includes more than 45 primetime regular-season games three nights a week on TNT Sports’ platforms, with twice-weekly games on TNT as the main channel on Mondays and Fridays and additional broadcasts on truTV on Saturdays. Unmatched live gaming action begins January 17, 2025.

As part of the media rights partnership, TNT Sports has agreed to invest an undisclosed amount in Unrivaled.

Unrivaled, a 3-on-3 women’s basketball league co-founded by WNBA stars Napheesa Collier And Breanna Stewartfeatures 30 of the best women’s basketball players from six teams for a condensed, complete style of play, giving fans the most entertaining and competitive form of the sport. With this agreement, Unrivaled provides sustainable stability and financial security for all players and stakeholders. Sports media titans David Levy, co-CEO of Horizon Sports & Experiences (HS&E), and John Skipper led the media rights negotiations. Both HS&E and Skipper have invested in the league.

Detailed unrivaled highlights and additional content will be distributed across all TNT Sports platforms including Bleacher Report, House of Highlights, HighlightHER and more. Unrivaled and TNT Sports will work with Mediapro North America to support all audio and visual production components of each game, creating exceptional viewing experiences on TNT and TruTV for audiences at home. TNT Sports’ partnership with Unrivaled follows the announcement in July that Ally Financial was named the league’s first founding partner. Ally, a brand known for championing media equality in women’s sports, is the jersey patch sponsor of all six teams and the official retail banking partner of Unrivaled.
