Book Nook is hosting an open house tomorrow – Beach Talk Radio News

They’re still not officially open for business, but Annette Stillson is hosting an open house Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for everyone who helped her clean up her unit in preparation for the grand opening. The book corner located in Santini Plaza.

The book corner was about to reopen until Hurricane Milton delayed it a bit. The store was flooded with about two inches of water from the storm, leaving a mess to clean out.

Volunteers met Annette at the Book Nook on Friday morning to help clean up her store, and she wants to thank them at the open house on Saturday.

Every book in the Book Nook was lost during Hurricane Ian. Every book now in Annette’s store was donated. If you would like to donate books, contact Annette by email at [email protected].
