“Until Dawn” video game film will be released by Sony in 2025

The Sony Pictures video game adaptation of Until Dawn will hit theaters next year.

The film by director David F. Sandberg will be released in theaters on April 25, 2025 and thus represents a comparison with Amazon MGM Studios. The accountant 2which also opens this date. Gary Dauberman, known for It Films, wrote the latest version of the screenplay for Screen Gems after Blair Butler wrote the previous draft of the script.

Until dawn is an R-rated ensemble film that pays homage to the horror genre. Dauberman, Mia Maniscalco, Sandberg, Lotta Losten, Roy Lee, Asad Qizilbash and Carter Swan produced the film. Charles Miller is executive producer.

This is the latest project for PlayStation Productions, behind HBOs The Last of UsPeacock’s Twisted metaland the Sony features Unexplored And Gran Turismo.
