Texas’ Kelvin Banks Jr. and Oklahoma’s Danny Stutsman lead the midseason AP All-American list

Believe it or not, we are halfway through the college football season.

Some players have already established themselves as breakout stars, while others are just getting started. The Associated Press has released its midseason All-American list, voted on by the same media panel that decides the weekly Top 25 poll.

Six players from local teams were on the list, with Texas offensive lineman Kelvin Banks Jr. and Oklahoma linebacker Danny Stutsman topping the group as first-team selections. Banks anchors an offensive line that has allowed just six sacks this season, while Stutsman ranks in the top 10 in the SEC in total tackles.

TCU wide receiver Jack Bech, A&M edge Nic Scourton, Texas cornerback Jahdae Barron and Oklahoma State safety Trey Rucker rounded out the list. The full All-American list can be found below:
