Generative AI programs can produce content that parrots false narratives in seconds, producing sophisticated fake images, videos and audio files that are increasingly indistinguishable from authentic material. The widespread accessibility of these tools provides malicious actors at home and abroad with a new, low-cost weapon to attempt election interference.

Panelists will assess AI threats to this year’s elections and share solutions, including what their offices are doing to protect elections from such threats.
