One of many was arrested this month by the same Fargo officer for driving under the influence

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – Shortly after noon on Thursday, October 10, Officer Jeff Ward was on patrol when he noticed a vehicle making a dangerous turn and crossing into the oncoming lane. Officer Ward initiated a traffic stop in the 100 block of 16th St. S.

The driver, identified as 46-year-old Jonathan Marr of Fargo, exhibited several signs of impairment. As Officer Ward approached the vehicle, he immediately noticed the odor of alcohol and Marr’s speech was slurred. Officer Ward also noticed that his eyes were watery and shiny.

Marr agreed to a chemical breath test, which confirmed his blood alcohol concentration (BAC) was more than twice the legal limit of 0.08.

Marr was arrested and taken to the Cass County Jail on a DUI charge. Additionally, Marr was charged with illegal possession of THC and driving under suspension (DUS).

This arrest was the third in a series of four arrests made by Officer Ward since Friday, October 4th for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
