Report: Tottenham now ready to sell star players to Real Madrid; Player who also enjoys movement

Tottenham are reportedly considering the possibility of selling right-back Pedro Porro, according to the latest information from GiveMeSport.

Despite Porro’s importance to the team since his arrival, the Liliywhites could be willing to listen to offers if the price is right.

Real Madrid is showing great interest in the Spanish defender. With Dani Carvajal out due to a long-term knee injury, Madrid are looking for a reliable replacement. Porro’s experience in La Liga – he previously played for Girona and Real Valladolid – makes him a suitable candidate.

Tottenham value Porro highly and could demand a transfer fee of over £60 million to part ways with him. However, no immediate sale is expected during the January transfer window, with the North London outfit likely to wait for the right opportunity to consider formal offers.

The Spanish full-back has also not ruled out a future move to the European giants, having recently spoken out about the links and expressed his willingness to wear the Madrid shirt.

Pedro Porro was an excellent signing for Tottenham

Porro first moved to Spurs on loan from Sporting CP in January 2023, and the move became permanent in the summer for a transfer fee of £39 million. His debut for the Lilywhites in February 2023 was met with some criticism following a 4-1 defeat to Leicester City, with former manager Tim Sherwood expressing doubts about his performance.

But Porro quickly recovered, proved his critics wrong and established himself as a key player.

In his first full season at Tottenham, Porro cemented his status as one of the Premier League’s best right-backs. In 35 appearances he contributed three goals and seven assists, demonstrating his attacking strength and defensive abilities.

His form has continued into the current season where he has already made an impression, including in Spurs’ first league game against Leicester City.

As speculation over Porro’s future intensifies, Tottenham could begin to prepare for a possible offer from the Spanish club in the coming transfer windows.
