WCT Sports Spotlight: Brooke Lindeman joins the show – West Central Tribune

MONTEVIDEO – West Central Tribune sports reporter Michael Lyne chats with Montevideo senior tennis girl Brooke Lindeman for Episode 61 of the WCT Sports Spotlight Show.

The goal of the WCT Sports Spotlight is to feature an athlete from west-central Minnesota each week.

Lindeman, the Thunder Hawks’ No. 1 singles player, helped lead them to the Class A state tournament. The quarterfinals are scheduled for Tuesday, October 22nd at the Reed-Sweatt Family Tennis Center in Minneapolis.

Lindeman will also compete in the Class A individual state tournament. She was the Section 3A individual champion. The meet begins Thursday, Oct. 24, at the Reed-Sweatt Family Tennis Center in Minneapolis.

Michael Lyne joined the West Central Tribune as a sports reporter in May 2022 after graduating from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in Spanish studies.
