Representatives of the Sister Cities participating in the 2023 Italian Bowl celebrity tournament were impressed by the local golf courses in our area and in 2023 decided to move the “Sister Cities Open” to the Sylvania Country Club golf course and decided that the challenge Ryder Cup style is best suited for the open.

“Most often, twin city agreements are words on paper that are difficult to translate into tangible results, but thanks to the resilience that is part of Nick Eyde and I’s entrepreneurial DNA, we show that organizing events like this Italian Bowl and the “Sister Cities Open is just a matter of vision and commitment,” said Raffaello Pellegrini, owner, founder and chairman of PRO SPORT Estense, the sports marketing company that organized and sponsored the Open.
