The Penguin Releases Mid-Season Weeks Ahead Trailer

While The penguin Panel, Warner Bros. released a new trailer for the series on the occasion of the midseason.

“A new family will emerge,” the description reads. “Stream a new episode of the HBO Original Limited Series The penguin this Sunday at 9pm ET on Max.”

Including the NYCC panelists Colin Farrell (Oz Cobb aka “The Penguin” and executive producer), Cristin Milioti (Sofia Falcone), Rhenzy Feliz (Victor Aguilar), Deirdre O’Connell (Francis Cobb), Michael Kelly (Johnny Viti), Clancy Brown (Sal Maroni), Lauren LeFranc(showrunner and executive producer) and Mike Marino (Prosthetic makeup designer).


Marvel Booth reveals HERBIE from Fantastic Four, Harrison Ford Red Hulk

The artwork on display at the Marvel booth at NYCC provides a first look at HERBIE by The Fantastic Four: Getting Started which will be released on July 25, 2025.

The graphic also shows a new look at Harrison Ford as Red Hulk Captain America: Brave New World which will be released on February 14, 2025.

The banner art also features comic book art, a look at Anthony Mackie, Lightning (May 2, 2025), Agatha: All the timeAnd What if…?

Marvel announces the “Rise of Emperor Doom” series

Marvel revealed details about it at New York Comic Con A world in declinea new overarching storyline in which Doctor Doom becomes Earth’s supreme wizard and takes control of the world. The event begins with Rise of Emperor Dooma five-issue series by Ryan North and RB Silva releasing in February. The story explores the reign of Doom and his impact on the Marvel Universe. Earth’s heroes form an assault team to challenge Doom’s rule, but some begin to accept him as Emperor.

Rise of Emperor Doom No. 1 goes on sale February 12th.

Marvel starts Astonishing Infinity Comics Line on Marvel Unlimited

Marvel Unlimited has introduced a new one Astonishing Series of Infinity Comics, starting with Amazing Spider-Man. The first two issues are now available free of charge; registration is not required. Written by Scott Aukerman and drawn by Salva Espin, the series puts Spider-Man in dire situations that test his sense of responsibility.

Below Amazing Spider-Man, Amazing X-Men starts in December and Amazing Avengers will follow in January 2025. These Infinity comics are available exclusively from Marvel Unlimited and are designed for mobile reading.

Marvel announces Ultimate Wolverine series

Marvel revealed at New York Comic Con Ultimate Wolverinea new series releasing in January 2025. Written by Chris Condon and illustrated by Alessandro Cappuccio, the series features Wolverine as a reluctant weapon controlled by the Creator, the secret creator of the Ultimate Universe. Wolverine was wiped out and used as an assassin. He’s still the best at what he does, even when he’s not in control.

The series starts after an audition in Ultimate Universe: One Year in #1to set the stage for the next year of stories.

Ultimate Wolverine No. 1 goes on sale January 15th.

Daredevil: Reborn Costumes on display

Daredevil: Born Again costumes on display at NYCC 2024

New York Comic-Con begins today with a look at the Daredevil: Reborn costumes. Fans who got a first look shared images of Charlie Cox’s Daredevil suit and Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk suit. Artwork reflecting Hell’s Kitchen, NYC can also be seen behind the costumes.

Although the cast and series will not be in attendance at NYCC, Marvel announced these booth exhibits for Daredevil: Reborn. There is no panel planned, the revelations will likely be saved for later. A leaked trailer of D23 can also be viewed.
