Fountain Hills Home Monitoring Service receives the award

Desert Home Guardian Services has received accreditation from the National Home Watch Association (NHWA) for the eighth time.

Founded and led by Pete and Diane Santiago, Desert Home Guardian Services (DHGS) is a leading home monitoring company and provider of vacation rental assistance to Arizona homeowners.

Of utmost importance to DHGS’s service offering is the Certified Home Watch Professional (CHWP) designation awarded by its clients.

According to a press release, this certification is awarded to NHWA Home Watch members who demonstrate extensive knowledge and expertise in the home watch industry, pass a comprehensive examination and are committed to continued professional development through continuing education credits.

Re-certification is required every two years to ensure DHGS remains at the forefront of industry best practices. Diane serves on the NHWA Executive Committee and Advisory Board and Pete is an instructor for the NHWA Home Watch Boot Camp Training Program.

The NHWA was founded in 2009 to establish and maintain the highest industry standards for home monitoring and away-from-home services for homeowners in the United States and Canada.

Home surveillance is a visual inspection of a home or property to look for obvious problems. All clients of NHWA accredited member companies are background checked, insured and bonded.

DHGS serves Fountain Hills, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley and Phoenix.
