Registration for Toys for Tots 2024 is open for Cullman families now through November 15th

The 2024 Toys for Tots registration campaign is underway for Cullman families in need. Registration sessions are held in October and November at Cullman Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2214. Families can register every Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and every Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The last day to register is Friday November 15th. 2024. (Toys for Tots Cullman)

CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman 2024 Toys for Toddlers Campaign has officially opened registration for families in need. Registration sessions are held in October and November at the Cullman Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2214, 112 Veterans Drive SW, Cullman, AL 35055. Families can register every Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and every Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The last day to register is Friday, November 15, 2024. Dates are subject to change; online registration is not possible.

The Toys for Tots program is organized by the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that partners with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve to collect and collect new, unwrapped toys during the holiday season to distribute it to children in need.

Toys for Tots Coordinator Sean Schofield emphasized the importance of community involvement, stating, “We are currently receiving applications to register Cullman children for the 2024 Toys for Tots campaign.” Toys for Tots Cullman distributes toys to underprivileged children in the throughout Cullman County to provide them with gifts to open on Christmas morning. Help us bring hope and joy to every child by donating a new, unwrapped gift to one of the many toy donation boxes throughout Cullman County.”

Families must bring original documents to register; photocopies will not be accepted. The following documentation is required:

ID: Driver’s License, Passport, Military ID or Immigration ID
Social Security Cards: Physical cards for children and the adult enrolling the children
Proof of Guardianship: Birth certificate or court documents indicating custody of each child
Proof of residence: telephone bill, electricity bill or rental agreement
Proof of Income: Paycheck, EBT statement, or Social Security benefit statement

Registration is open to children aged 0 to 15, and families can only apply for support from one organization to avoid duplication.
