Crookston should get a 2 seed. Blake School will be the top seed as they are ranked #1. Perham took second place and was edged out by Staples-Motley. Minnewaska Area placed third and lost to Litchfield in the section championship.
Crookston finished No. 4 in the state, beating No. 8 Thief River Falls and Staples-Motley (receiving votes). They also defeated Litchfield 4-3 in the regular season.
St. James was expected to get the third seed, Litchfield the fourth seed and Pine City the fifth seed. I believe that one way or another, Waseca and Providence Academy will be ranked 6th and 7th and Waseca will be 8th.
