Tragedy struck when Liam Payne met his untimely death on October 16, 2024 at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

According to an alleged cleaning crew, there were signs of unusual behavior from the former One Direction star before his tragic death.

Meanwhile, in the audio, the woman could be heard saying in Spanish, translated into English, “Yes, he’s dead.” The man, he’s dead.

“Some say he passed out in the lobby (of the hotel). They took him back to his room and he was acting kind of crazy and jumping. He jumped. He was completely exhausted (on drugs).”

The alleged housekeeper also reportedly recalled cleaning Payne’s room on Wednesday and claimed that during her routine, the singer allegedly used drugs in her presence while “apologizing for the mess.”

The source from which the original poster obtained the WhatsApp audio is a mystery, but a statement from law enforcement appears to confirm the audio’s claims.

Pablo Policicchio, the communications director for Buenos Aires’ security ministry, revealed to the AP that Payne “jumped from the balcony of his room.”

After receiving an urgent call around 5 p.m. local time, police officers headed to the CasaSur Hotel to pursue an “aggressive male who may have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol.”

In a 911 call, the hotel manager urgently reports “a guest overcome by drugs and alcohol… He’s destroying the entire room and, well, we need you to send someone, please.”

The manager called back after the line went dead, repeating his request and claiming, according to The Sun, “They need to send someone urgently because I don’t know if the guest’s life is in danger.”

“You need to be in a room that has a balcony. And well, we’re a little bit afraid that he’ll do something and endanger his life.”

The manager’s voice became more and more concerned as he asked for immediate help and emphasized that there was a balcony in the room.

Music Times was unable to independently verify the authenticity of the WhatsApp audio clip.

A representative of the emergency medical team confirmed that Payne was pronounced dead at the scene where he suffered serious injuries in a fatal fall.

Alberto Crescenti said: “The alarm was raised at 5:04 p.m. local time and said there was a person lying in a courtyard of Casa Sur.”

“At 5.11pm an ambulance arrived and the man was pronounced dead. There was no way to revive him.”
