The Galaxy S25 Ultra’s display will be slightly curved at the corners and along the body as Samsung avoids sharp edges

Samsung is gearing up to launch the new Galaxy S25 range early next year, possibly in January, and we’re expecting big design changes when it comes to the front of the device. The current Galaxy S24 Ultra’s display features sharp corners, and the company may move away from that approach and introduce rounded corners to its top-of-the-line Ultra model next year.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is said to have rounded display corners, similar to the iPhone and Pixel phones

Renowned leaker Ice Universe has shared the image of the front glass or screen protector of the Galaxy S25 Ultra and it can be observed that the device will feature rounded corners instead of sharp right angles. The current model of the Galaxy S24 Ultra has a very boxier design compared to the standard Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24 Plus. From this we can conclude that the company is further developing the already known design.

On the other hand, Samsung’s decision to switch to rounded corners for the front display will also enable better competitiveness. Google’s latest Pixel 9 series also features a boxier design, albeit with rounded edges. Apple has introduced the iPhone

Samsung’s new strategy of relying on rounded corners would also make it easier for users to hold the device. It’s worth noting that the overall body of the device is also rounded at the corners, bringing it closer to the rounded corners of the display. However, if we take a closer look at the leaked images, we can see from the screen protector or the front glass that the rounded corners are very subtle compared to the competition.

Nonetheless, the subtly rounded corners would allow the device to maintain its classic design approach while making it much easier to hold as the curves will be very small. In another leaked image, tipster Ice Universe also shows off the screen protectors of all three models of the Galaxy S25, including the Ultra model, giving us a clear look at what we have to look forward to.

From the images, we can see that the bezels have been reduced slightly, which could help make things difficult for the iPhone 16 Pro models. The edges of the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus appear to be slightly larger, but it could also be due to the angle of view that contributes to the illusion of larger size.
