WALTHAM, Mass. – After back-to-back road games, the Bentley football team returns home to host American International on Saturday, October 19th at 1:00 p.m. The Northeast 10 game is part of Bentley’s Think Pink weekend.

Senior wide receiver Rashon Bradford is by far the best receiver of the NE10. Bradford leads the conference in receptions (40) and receiving yards (670), while his seven touchdown catches rank second. He has nine more catches than the second-best receiver in the NE10 and 102 more yards. Bradford has three touchdowns that went over 70 yards: two against New Haven (October 2) and one at Assumption (October 9).

Air Pullman

Graduate quarterback Brett Pullman continues to lead the conference in total passing, entering this weekend with 1,761 yards. He has three consecutive games with more than 300 passing yards, including a career-high 477 yards against New Haven (October 2).

The talented Mr. Damon

Senior tight end Pat Damon’s 23 catches ranks seventh in the NE10. He has surpassed 50 yards in three games, for a total of 295 yards this season.

Seven different Bentley defenders have at least one interception and/or fumble recovery. Graduate linebacker Nick Pucillo leads the Falcons with three takeaways. He recovered a fumble in the season opener at West Chester (September 7) and intercepted passes at Saint Anselm (September 14) and Pace (October 5).

Gomes sets off
Isaiah Gomes has emerged as one of the premier pass rushers in the NE10. His three sacks this season lead the Falcons and rank fifth in the conference.

Scouting American International (1-5, 0-3 NE10)

The Yellow Jackets rank last in the conference in points scored per game (15.0) and points allowed per game (42.7). Their only win was the season opener against Shippensburg 28-3. Cephas Williams is averaging just under 195 yards per game and six touchdowns with three interceptions. Four different players, including Williams, have carried the ball at least 25 times this season. Bentley defeated AIC 62-12 in Springfield last year. Brett Pullman threw a few touchdown passes, Rashon Bradford caught two touchdown passes and Pat Damon also scored.
