For everyone who hopes so oasis could take the stage Glastonbury Unfortunately, in 2025, Liam Gallagher has made his feelings clear.

Fans of the ’90s band are looking forward to their reunion tour in July next year, and rumors are rife that Britpop legends could appear on the Pyramid Stage at Worthy Farm before it kicks off.

However, Liam and Noel Gallagher shut down the speculation earlier this year with a joint statement: “Despite media speculation, Oasis will not be performing at Glastonbury 2025 or any other festivals next year.”

“The only opportunity to see the band perform will be on their Oasis Live ’25 World Tour.”

Now Liam has taken to X (formerly Twitter) to further express his feelings.

It’s perhaps worth pointing out that Noel made headlines earlier this summer when he presided over Glastonbury’s recent line-up, for which he ended up facing a major backlash.

After literally years of speculation as to whether the estranged Gallagher brothers would ever put their differences aside and perform together again, it was confirmed in August that Oasis would perform a series of performances in the UK and Ireland in 2025.

The tour, which now totals 20 shows, will begin in Cardiff in July 2025 before heading to Manchester, London and Edinburgh.
