Studio City unveils 3 movie-themed attractions for Halloween

Studio City Macau will introduce three spooky movie-themed attractions and kid-friendly activities for Halloween. You can find all the details here.

Three horror films on the subject of film

Among the seasonal installations, the haunted house “Creepy Studio” stands out, which was created in collaboration with the renowned Hong Kong film art director Irving Cheung. This attraction is certainly not for the faint of heart, as all the characters that incite nightmares lurk inside, including zombies, ghostly nuns, vampires and murderers. Standard tickets are available for MOP 124 (US$15) per person, with a special ticket package for MOP 424 (US$52) for four people (original price MOP 496 or US$61). Melco Style members can also enjoy a free select drink at Premiere Bar with their same-day Creepy Studio ticket.

The Wheel of Horrors is a golden reel that introduces five special Halloween carriages, including two ghost-themed cabins for a spooky ride high into the sky and three cute spooky-themed cabins for a fun adventure. Guests can board both cabins for MOP 444 ($55), with the Ghost-themed cabin and the Cute Spooky-themed cabin sleeping four and six people, respectively. Tickets for “Creepy Studio” and “Wheel of Horrors” are on sale now.

Finally, there is the “Lift of Screams,” where even more horror awaits. Find out how long you can stay in the elevator. To experience the lift, purchase a game token for 20 MOP ($2.50) each. On the other hand, Melco Style members can purchase a pack of 10 tokens for just 150 MOP ($18) or spend 300 MOP ($37) or more in a single transaction to get a free game token.

Time Square mI’ll be transformed into a photogenic party where you can enjoy fun Halloween-style booth games. Don’t miss the “Halloween Screamfest” with a giant 20-foot-tall pumpkin spouting candy and crack open the ghost-shaped piñata to take home mysterious treats. Like “Lift of Screams,” “Halloween Screamfest” requires tokens for each participating guest.

The event garden has been taken over by a giant pumpkin patch, open for spooky photo opportunities from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Children are invited to paint and design their own mini pumpkins. The workshops take place every 30 minutes from 2:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (Sessions take place every 30 minutes and registration is required half an hour in advance. To get a taste of the time-honored Halloween tradition of trick-or-treating, kids can also roam Studio City with Studio City candy bags and collect candy from select vendors. With over 60 participating vendors, this will be one of the largest trick-or-treating experiences in Macau. These exclusive candy bags are available for 80 MOP (9 USD). For Melco Style members, the candy bags are only 50 MOP (6 USD).

That’s not all. Enjoy Spooky Gourmet while celebrating Halloween at Studio City. Limited-edition Halloween menu items, desserts and specialty drinks are available at the hotel’s restaurants. Participating vendors include Rossi Pizza, Spotlight, Joyride Diner, Louvre Pastry & Deli and Premiere Bar.

Watch some of the scariest horror films with the Chilling Movie Offer. With a day ticket for “Creepy Studio” or “Wheel of Horrors,” guests receive a 50 percent discount on their second movie ticket for select films at the Studio City Cinema box office. Even those wearing a Halloween costume can enjoy this special offer. Selected films include films such as Alien: Romulus, Beetlejuice 2, Shutter 4Kand more.
