KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) – Singaporean game developer and publisher Free Fire has signed a deal with viral Thai baby pygmy hippo Moo Deng – and fans can expect exclusive Moo Deng in-game collectibles for the battle starting in November -Royal shooter will be available.

In collaboration with the Zoological Park Organization of Thailand, the three-month-old hippo is expanding its popularity beyond memes that have flooded all social media platforms to the popular mobile game.

Meanwhile, the organization announced the results of the Moo Deng logo design competition, which was determined by a public vote.

With over 57,000 votes out of around 100,000 votes received, the logo’s designer, Piyapatsara Kaewteentan, will receive a prize of 10,000 baht (RM1,298).

The logo will be used by the organization to register the logo as a trademark with the Ministry of Intellectual Property and obtain commercial protection, Khaosod English reported.
